About
Built by one person, for everyone who loves their library.
nightfin isn't a company. It's a side project by someone who runs a Jellyfin server at home and wanted it to feel as good as the streaming apps.
Hi, I'm Felix.
I've been collecting films and shows on my own server for years. Jellyfin is fantastic at keeping it all organised, but on the TV, the apps never quite felt good. Too many menus, too little calm, and the nicest ones keep their best features behind a paywall.
So I started designing the player I wanted to use myself: big artwork, a remote that does what you expect, and files that play exactly as they were mastered. That became nightfin.
It's free because I think everyone who runs their own server deserves a great player. If you'd like to support the work, you can buy me a coffee on Ko-fi. Telling a friend helps just as much.
